Posted in News

January 21, 2009 – Music publisher and record label CAM, digital music distributor La Cupula Music and independent distributor United For Opportunity (UFO) have signed a deal with New York-based RightsFlow to help them handle their DPD (digital phonorecord delivery) licensing.

“Working with RightsFlow will allow us to continue to focus on the marketing and sale of our music content,” said CAM’s manager director, Agostino Campi. He added that RightsFlow’s Outsourced Music Licensing system (FLOW) will allow CAM, which specializes in the sale of original film soundtracks and jazz, to sell more product in the US.

Maarten van Wijck, La Cupula Music’s CEO, added: “Through RightsFlow’s systems, we are able to cost-effectively obtain bulk DPD licenses for US distributions, allowing our labels to clear licenses quickly and easily.”

Duncan Hutchison, RightsFlow’s newly appointed Chief Content Officer, said: “We are excited to be able to provide a one-stop solution for our new partners’ DPD licensing, accounting and royalty needs.”
