Summary:
The explosion of digital products and services today in South America and worldwide has turned the transaction in the industry to the micro level. Unfortunately for rights holders, the process of licensing rights and collecting, administering and reporting royalties has lagged behind. This panel will discuss issues related to rights, royalties and reporting in the digital world with respect to worldwide distribution, international societies and other challenges delaying or preventing Latin songwriters getting paid for sales in all territories.
