NEW YORK CITY, NY (September 28, 2011) Ben Cockerham, RightsFlow’s Chief Strategy Officer and CFO, and Fred Beteille, the company’s Senior Vice-President of Operations and Technology, will share their licensing and rights administration expertise during the upcoming Future of Music Coalition Policy Summit 2011 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. on October 3rd and 4th.

Cockerham will be a featured during the Data Without Borders panel scheduled for Tuesday, October 4th at 2:00 p.m. Walter McDonough, Future of Music Coalition Co-founder and General Council will moderate the panel with additional participation and dialogue from Eric Baptiste (SOCAN), Jonathan Bender (Sound Exchange), Jim Griffin (One House), and Mark Isherwood (Rightscom Limited). The panel will address the continued impact of digitalization of content on the entertainment industry. Issues to be discussed include:
- Should there be a single master collection of recordings and songs?
- Is there a place for government action in these processes?
- Will database creation foster new growth in the music industry?
