Fred Beteille is a dynamic thought-leader with expertise in music licensing, publishing, royalty system design, and outsourced copyright management solutions. Driven by his belief in the power of free market and entrepreneurial solutions to meet industry challenges, Beteille is focused on creating transformative technological change and transparency to provide a lasting impact on the business. He joins RightsFlow as the Senior Vice-President of Operations and Technology, applying this passion and vision for success to his new role. Under his direction and leadership, the company will continue to identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency in order to streamline the licensing and royalty reporting processes for diverse forms of intellectual property.

Prior to joining RightsFlow, Beteille was the Senior Director of Strategic Technology at the Harry Fox Agency, Inc., where he led the company’s business technology initiatives. During his tenure, HFA developed and refined its technological trajectory, resulting in HFA being recognized as one of Information Week’s Top 500 Relentless Innovators for 2009 and 2010. His design and implementation of new transactional database systems facilitated unprecedented success in automated matching driving expedited licensing and royalty administration for the company. Additionally, he held the posts of Manager and Director of Business Affairs & Licensing Technology while overseeing HFA’s digital and new media licensing operations.

Before joining HFA, Beteille was a Personal Assistant to entertainment attorney Stuart Silfen, of Frankfurt, Garbus, Kurnit, Klien & Selz PC, working with high profile clients on contracts and licensing deals. Early in his career, he was a business development manager for the start-up media firm, Syrinx Media Group, Inc.
