Jason Walker Product Specialist
Jason Walker brings valuable experience in business development and digital product management at the intersection of technology, audio/video consumer electronics, internet, entertainment & digital media industries with a proven track record in designing and implementing strategic business initiatives that produce profitable bottom line results. Having successfully run an independent music production company for 6 years, he also provides strong entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving skills, and an abundance of technical abilities.
As Vice-President of Operations, Mr. Walker oversees the ongoing development of the RightsFlow proprietary bulk mechanical licensing & royalty system “FLOW,” and is responsible for the execution of all technical aspects of the licensing & royalty department. The appointment reinforces RightsFlow’s strategic data management initiative for optimizing its entertainment rights licensing platform to achieve greater business value. Walker will be instrumental in implementing the processes to develop a streamlined system for improving communication flows between RightsFlow and its clients. He has experience with complex software applications, having been the Manager of Technical Support and Sales at Musitek Corporation, a music notation optical recognition software company. His solid technical abilities and analytical strengths play a vital role in the ongoing advancement and innovation of scalable modular information systems that are robust, reliable, and easily maintainable.
Mr. Walker has also worked in licensing and rights negotiations in a variety of strategic and business development roles including Sony Music’s Commercial Music Group. His knowledge of the Japanese mobile music market provides RightsFlow with distinctive insight towards effective strategies for business penetrations in new markets, and towards future trends emerging in the U.S. and throughout the world. In addition, he worked at David Logan Music as a Marketing Coordinator & Sound Designer, producing sound for Xbox and PlayStation games such as Namco’s PacMan World 2.
Mr. Walker has an MA in Business from New York University, a BA in Communications from University of Tampa, and a BAS in Sound Arts from Expression College for Digital Arts.
